Policy is a tricky thing. Just
when you think you know the "official GM
stance" on something, you find (usually at the worst
possible moment) that the "official" stance has
changed, or that there was never any official stance at
all. Policy, unfortunately, is rarely ever black and
white. Instead, it consists of countless, shifting shades
of grey. As a the player of a Thief, it is especially
important for you to know policy, as well as anyone can
be said to know policy. So here I write down what little
can be written about this ambiguous at best subject,
DragonRealms Policy.
!DISCLAIMER! This is policy as I understand it, in an attempt to help Thieves also better understand it. But please take to heart what I noted above -- policy is ever changing. I will not be held responsible for misunderstandings with Simutronics. The GM's don't even know what the policy is half the time, what I've shared here should serve as a guideline, but please take it with a grain of salt. |
